It was a windy evening along the beach as I was watching the waves pound the shoreline just down from the Ebey Bluff. The sky was glowing as the sun had just set over the horizon. I tried to get myself positioned so I could capture the oncoming waves with the sunset in the background. When trying to capture the waves I walked out close to the edge of the waterline.
It was at this time the waves began to come in larger and faster. Holding onto the tripod and my camera, the next wave was the largest. I stayed my ground and took the photo as the wave hit me. Yes, I got wet from the knee's down, but I also got the shot.
